This is my Maddie being cute as can be in the rain after digging her nose into some mud.
My dog was probably the most hyper thing you would ever meet. She belonged on a wide open field, chasing sheep until she tired. But instead… she lived in my backyard for 18+ years and I loved every second of it.
Fun Facts About Maddie:
-She drank out of the pool EVERY DAY (I’m pretty sure she discovered the fountain of youth in there)
-She once drank an entire bucket of grease… and survived!
-She ran away every chance she got.
-She’s the only dog who thought her fur coat in the winter was made out of mink and she wore it proudly.
-She looked like Dobby in her old age which made me love her even more.
-Even at her old age she remained frisky and fought for my boyfriends affection… she usually won.
There are many, many more. But I love you, Maddie. I regret rushing out the door yesterday morning and not taking the time to go outside to tell you I love you like I usually did. I didn’t realize it was your time.
